The vet just called to say that Harley's been in increasing pain and to recommend euthanasia. Gary and I will be driving down in a little while. We want to be with him.
I'm so sorry for your pain, and Harley's. I remember him as a rubberban-chasing kitten terror. Soon his pain will be over and he knows you took the best care of him and you love him. Inez

And a few other things, less easily labeled. The title of this blog is a phrase John Clute used to describe the plots of my first two novels. It both amused and annoyed me, and I finally decided to reclaim it as a badge of honor. Would you prefer rickety contrivances of doing bad?

I am so sorry Susan. Have peace in knowing you did the very best for him. Heaven will have another little furry angel.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Every time I got up last night he came to mind. So sorry.
