This morning's view. I'd say that our trip tomorrow -- through the High Sierra, where's there's always a lot more snow than we have down here -- is indeed looking doubtful.
Looks cold. And beautiful. But not in an Ice Queen way. Interesting that you can drive around Reno yet less snow that that seems to cripple much of Europe.
Dianne -- Well, Europe's not used to it. And Reno doesn't deal with snow as well as, say, Chicago or Milwaukee would. A friend from Vermont (where nobody thinks anything of three times this amount of snow) always rolls her eyes at how helpless Renoites become with even less than a foot!
SF/fantasy writer. English professor. Episcopalian. Licensed lay preacher. Former volunteer ER chaplain (but not clergy); future, I hope, ER patient advocate. Intermediate knitter; beginning weaver.
And a few other things, less easily labeled. The title of this blog is a phrase John Clute used to describe the plots of my first two novels. It both amused and annoyed me, and I finally decided to reclaim it as a badge of honor. Would you prefer rickety contrivances of doing bad?
It is that time of year again. Rats!!!
