After more than fifteen years on AOL, I'm beginning the slow and no doubt torturous process of switching to a new e-mail address: spalwick (at) gmail (dot) com. Please update your address books!

It's not the aol part I'm gonna miss, it's the SusanPal part! I assume you're going to spalwick because it's more mature and businesslike? Well, I suppose that's inevitable now that we're ensconced in middle age. But still. No one's got a way with cute plays on her name like you, candlefriend. (Ok, I know someone else came up with that one. Even so.)

I beg your pardon: it's friendcandle. The Pal part is first, not second! And my mother came up with that, and a college friend ran with it.
ReplyDeleteYou can call me SusanPal whenever you like, Clairesy. ;-) But yeah, for the rest of the world, spalwick is a bit more fitting for my ever spreading-and-graying matronly -- *cough, cough* -- persona.
